Also called the Hand-and-a-half sword, the longsword is one of the most used swords in the Dark Ages. It has been used in many wars but also as aweapon of choice by civilians.

A good serviceable point allowed it to be used for thrusting, and a medium weight allowed it to be used easily and carried with equal ease. The quality of this sword is that it is light enough to be wielded with one hand and a dagger in the other but it can also be used with two hands for a very powerful cut.
