Bushido Katana SH1210 - Hanwei Paul Chen Swords

Like all other piece of the Bushido Series this sword has a hand forged and folded K120C powder steel blade. The blade has been tempered using the traditional claying method to produce a high quality HRC60 edge and a HRC40 back.

The temper line (hamon) of this sword is prominent and you can clearly see the distinct layers in the grain pattern (hada). The saya are deeply lacquered in gold with inlaid brass cherry blossom (sakura) flowers.

The sword your looking at is the Katana (SH1210) sword of the Bushido Series. The tsuka is covered with high quality ray skin with detailing in gold and silver and a battle scene decoration.

You will find that this Katana sword by Paul Chen is of the highest quality. The Bushido Katana sword by Hanwei is an amazing addition to any sword collection.

    I have had my Bushido for 2.5 yrs now (or there abouts). I have used it in our Dojo many times for cutting. The 7MM blade is a bit light, but this forces the user the user to use proper technique, if not, the weakness of the swordsman is exposed. The sword, is light, the construction, and steel, are both first rate. In my opinion, this blade, is a match, for the more expensive Paul Chen blades made for Bugai. Sweedish powdered steel, folded, and clayed. This blade, is a true warriors blade.
