Hanwei - Practical Hand & a Half Paul Chen Sword
This practical “Hand and a Half” sword is based on the Marshall sword, so named for one of England’s finest knights of the latter half of the 12th century.
This sword as a very classical design with a cruciform hilt a wheel pommel and a ridged-and-fullered blade that is both solid and light.
The blade is crafted from 1065 high-carbon steel, hardened to 50HRC, which restricts edge-notching to acceptable levels while providing resilience and protection against brittleness.
