LOTR – Official Battle Axe of Gimli

 

Gimli, son of Gloin is a proud and strong dwarf that is ready for battle at any time. Like most dwarves, Gimli favours the axe as his primary weapon. When Gimli joined his father at the council of Elrond, Gimli is chosen amongst the dwarves to accompany the fellowship of the ring. Once the Fellowship get;s separated at the end of the first movie, Gimli proves to be a proud and strong warrior fighting valiantly alongside Legolas and Aragorn from the Battle of Helm’s Deep to the Black gate of Mordor.

 

In Moria, after a cave troll destroys the tomb of his forefather, Balin, Gimli is able to retrieve the mighty two-handed Battle Axe for all close combat. Gimli is an accomplished fighter rrepared for as many different situations as possible; he carried the Battle Axe with him, along with his Walking Axe, Bearded Axe, and two throwing axes.
