Shamshir Persian Sword by Cold Steel
The Shamshir Persian sword is caracterized by a curved blade that was known troughout the entire Ottoman Empire and beyond india to deliver some of the most devastating cutting stroke. Contrary to popular belief, it was very effective at delivering rising, descending and hooking style thrusts!
This is the Cold Steel replica of the historical shamshir. This replica is the exact copie except for a few improvements. The blade is now made of 1050 high carbon steel and the handle as been improved with a black faux buffalo horn material.
The scabbard is also a close copy of the original model. It’s made of thick, black leather (so it won’t dull the blade) and reinforced by a brass throat and chape, and comes complete with dual suspension rings.
